The internal parts of the valve are constructed from durable V4A 1.4571 stainless steel, guaranteeing longevity and resistance to corrosion. The Viton/PTFE ozone-resistant seal, along with the included solenoid valve featuring manual override, ensures a tight and secure seal during operation.

Installation is made easy as the Behncke 5-way Backwash Rod Valve can be attached to any filter, thanks to its adjustable connection pieces that can be rotated by 90°. The valve offers options for both normally closed and closed positions in the filtration mode, minimizing hydraulic resistance and optimizing performance.

When connecting the automatic backwash to the drinking water network, it is essential to incorporate a pipe disconnector (DVGW tested) upstream, especially when the water pressure is at least 3 bar, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The controller for the valve is not included and should be procured separately.
