What is overflow pool?
An overflow pool, also known as a "vanishing edge" pool is a type of swimming pool design that creates the visual effect of water extending to the horizon with no visible edges. It is a popular choice for luxury resorts, high-end residences, and properties with scenic views.
The overflow is typically designed to create a seamless visual transition between the pool water and the surrounding landscape or a distant view, hence the name "vanishing edge" or "infinity" pool. The continuous circulation of water helps maintain water quality by preventing stagnation and allows for better filtration.
The overflow design is achieved by constructing a raised wall or weir on one or more sides of the pool, which allows the water to spill over and be collected in the catch basin. The collected water is then pumped back into the pool, creating a perpetual flow and ensuring the water level remains constant.

The solution consists of an overflow grate, edge support and corner pieces.
The overflow grate, 245 mm wide, is available in two models - 254 FL Flex, suitable for both regular and unique pool shapes. 245 CM Compact – designed for pools with regular shapes, practically hiding the overflow line, making it possible to completely hide the overflow system.
Edge support is available as a flat S62 or with a grip 647, allowing swimmers to comfortably hold on to the side of the pool.
Prestige System is suitable and best fits a swimming pool with large deck circumference, as this system involves placing the Rosa Gres grid and the edging tile around the pool.

Slim System
In a slim system there are 3 main elements that make it the perfect solution for thin-walled bowls. Overflow grille, side support and corner pieces.
Overflow grate, 254 FL Flex or 245 CM Compact, and edging tiles J62 that fits inside the swimming pool bowl.
The corners complete the design and give the perfect, finished look to the pool. The design also uses the overflow tray unit RS941.
The Rosa Gres slim system is for pools with smaller deck, unlike the deck level as discussed earlier the slim system places the grip tile at the water line level and the edging tile will be within the water itself.

Smart System
The uniqueness of this development lies in the absence of the overflow grate itself. And yet, thanks to the side elements L62 and J62, it is possible to create an overflow pool, unique in its kind, with an invisible overflow system.
Important note - you must use a specialized overflow tray from Rosa Gres RS951 to get this system effective. The corners complete the design and give the perfect, finished look to the pool.
The Rosa Gres Smart system pools are recommended and best suits pools with more water movement such as water jets or water fall. Here, the pools are constructed with a hidden overflow along the lengths of the pool, allowing the water to be below the deck level.

Zen System
To achieve the effect of elevation, several components already familiar to us from the Rosa Gres range are used - overflow grates of two types 245CM and I25,

It is simple to maintain and doesn't need specific cleaning techniques. To keep it appearing clean and well-maintained, regular sweeping and periodic washing with light detergent are typically sufficient.
