CTX 943 Pipework Cleaner for spa, 1 L
A specifically developed chemical called CTX 943 Pipework Cleaner for Spa is used to get rid of biofilm that accumulates in the circuits (pipes) of spas and whirlpool tubs. Water should be poured into the spa or whirlpool up to 5 to 10 cm above the delivery nozzles. You can use the same bath water. To eliminate biofilm from spas or whirlpools with 1,000–3,000 L capacities, add half a bottle (500 ml) of Pipework Cleaner. Before cleaning, take off the filter cartridges and let the filtration and massage pump run for around 30 minutes. After cleaning is finished, run both pumps (filtration and massage) for a minute or two to refill the spa or hot tub with clean water for rinsing. Repeat emptying the glass after this.
Reinstall the cartridge in the filter, clean or new, and then add clean water and a disinfectant (chlorine or bromine).Bathing is not permitted while cleaning is being done.
Three to four times a year should be plenty to clean a spa or whirlpool.
