AtecPool anti-vortex main drain for liner pool, 2 ", ABS

The drainage and circulation system of your swimming pool must have main drains. Drains in the deep end of the pool provide flow, ensuring water purity, optimal chemical distribution, and maintaining a constant water temperature throughout the pool.

The main drain allows the pool water to enter the pump and filter. The main drain is situated in the deepest part of the pool's bottom. Larger pools may have multiple main drains, but smaller pools may only have one.

AtecPool main drains are made of UV-treated ABS plastic and are designed for surface suction velocities no more than 0.5 m/s. Included are screws, a flange, and self-adhesive gaskets.

Recommendations:

• In order to ensure safety, each pool should have 2 main drains and a minimum of a 2 m gap between each.
• Water flowing through the grille should not exceed 0.5 m/s.
• Your main drain should be connected to a hydrostatic valve and drainage tube to reduce pressure caused by underground water courses.
