Translucent, smooth water is produced by chlorinating saltwater. Salt chlorination is one example of a natural sanitization technique that can be used in substitute for strong chemical-based disinfectants. Salt water is not only nutritious, but it also creates fewer chloramines, which gets rid of the strong chemical smell.

Only once the necessary saline level has been reached can a salt chlorine generator start to work. Chlorine is created in a specific cell by electrolyzing salt with electrodes.  This swimming pool sanitization technique is effective and affordable.
