Algae are primitive plants that like to find all the right conditions in our swimming pools to proliferate - water, heat, light and food! They have no direct harmful effect on swimmers, but they are a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi.

The invasive presence of algae in swimming pools is very annoying: dull water, unpleasant green colour, sticky and slippery walls. Only chemical means prevent any development of algae in the pool.

It stops their development. This is the result obtained by maintenance chlorination.

Algaecide action of Ocedix QT 20

The algae is destroyed. This is due to specialties based on quaternary ammoniums which act in synergy with maintenance chlorination.
