CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) is an alternative rigid tubing which presents two very desirable features:
- good high temperature mechanical toughness
- higher chemical tolerance in comparison to metal
CPVC polymer is more chlorinated to PVC polymer. This additional chloride is responsible for the high temperature resistance of the material and other properties that are precious to industrial plumbing.
