A saltwater chlorination process produces silky-smooth, clean, and clear water. Natural sanitization methods such as salt chlorination are an alternative to harsh chemical disinfectants. In addition to being healthy, salt water has fewer chloramines produced, thus eliminating the harsh chemical smell.

A salt chlorine generator can only function when the required salinity level is reached. Through the use of electrodes and a salt electrolysis technique, chlorine is produced in a unique cell.  This method of pool sanitization is very successful and economical.

With a variety of choices for treating different pool volumes, the Zodiac eXPERT salt electrolyzer offers adaptability in salt water treatment. It offers complete water treatment capabilities, including pH modulation and automatic chlorination control through water balance management. It is quick to set up and has an easily readable display.

Recommendations:

• We advise using salt (sodium chloride) in accordance with standard EN 16401 to ensure proper operation of the chlorinator and equipment protection.
• Do not add salt directly in the skimmer(s).
• It is important to only turn on the device once the salt has completely dissolved in the pool.
