In indoor swimming pool rooms, a dehumidifier controls the humidity and air temperature to regulate the environment. Less outside air is required and less energy is used to heat or cool the air when a dehumidifier is used. Warm air is generated by the dehumidification process while waste water is discharged into a drain. Dehumidifiers can be mounted on the wall in the pool area.

For controlling humidity in indoor swimming pools, use wall-mounted types. R410A compressors with an integrated electronic thermostat enable extremely quiet operation (44–47 dB(A)) and significant energy savings.

The device circulates moist air over a chilled coil using a tiny fan. The refrigeration unit's cold coil condenses water, which is then evacuated, and the hot coil then reheats the air. High dew point temperatures and higher ambient temperatures are ideal for this process.
