Your swimming pool's drainage and circulation system must have primary drains. In addition to assuring water purity, appropriate chemical distribution, and maintaining a steady water temperature throughout the pool, the deep end of the pool has drains that provide flow.
Pool water might enter the pump and filter through the main drain. The deepest area of the pool's bottom is where the main drain is located. Smaller pools may just have one main drain, whereas larger pools may have several.
A swimming pool gutter's main function is to skim particles off the water's surface. The operating water level is set just above the gutter lip so that water continuously flows into the gutter trough along the whole pool circumference.
The 2 in x 4-inch hi-style grate features a 2-inch socket and measures 4 inches long. Gutter drains from Pentair have an extra-deep socket coupling.
