In order to stop microorganisms and potentially hazardous bacteria from growing in the pool, disinfection is crucial for both public and private swimming pools. It is vital that we keep the water we swim in free from pathogenic organisms and bacteria. Hence, germs and other organisms are killed using disinfectants like chlorine through chlorine dispenser or skimmer. Similarly, disinfection plays a role in controlling organic debris from products that are applied to the skin, like deodorant, creams and oils.

In the same way that a dosing pump is needed, as it draws measured amounts into a chamber and then injects it into the pipe or tank to be dosed. The purpose of a dosing pump is to pump a very precise amount of a chemical or substance into a water, steam or gas stream.

Astral Pool Optima dosing pump has a built-in pH/Redox control. It has the ability to control the sensor efficiency level and can be auto-calibrated by simply pressing a button.
