In a hydromassage system, a jet head assembly is coupled to a water source under pressure and features a jet nozzle. It allows air to enter the passageway while allowing water to flow through the nozzle in response to a water flow that includes an air passageway which is exposed to both the atmosphere and the water at different points. It is also designed to stop water flow in the opposite direction in the event that the nozzle's discharge is blocked.
AstalPool adjustable silent air inlet uses a silent venturi system to control the jets' air flow. Inlet of air is through the recessed part of the body.
